Autoimmune Conditions

Photobiomodulation (PBM), is a therapeutic approach for inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. PBM has been shown to reduce disease severity in rodent studies through down-regulation of proinflammatory cytokines and up-regulation of anti-inflammatory cytokines. PBM has also been shown in rodent studies to protect against nitrosative stress and apoptosis within the central nervous system which has been reported to play diverse roles in Multiple Sclerosis.
