Neurodegenerative Disease

Photobiomodulation (PBM) can benefit neurodegenerative diseases; including Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, dementia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, spinal cord injury, and degenerative central nervous system disease. PBM has been shown to significantly improve cognition in mild to moderately severe dementia and possible Alzheimer's Disease cases as well as TBI patients even years after injury. PBM has also been shown to improve neuronal function in patients with Parkinson's Disease. In addition, PBM has been shown in rodent studies to reverse memory degradation.
