I came across the legends on Instagram and became very intrigued.

4. Why I decided to do 15 consecutive days of Whole Body Cryo…

The love for cryo had already been well established in my books so it wasn’t a surprise that my bio hacking and holistic health nutty self took on a challenge that would undoubtedly have me reap the benefits I already had experienced in a completely different light. My arthritis and fatigue was really inflamed and getting the better of me at this time too which enhanced the push for sure.

Grateful it wasn’t a sixteen-day challenge but boy did I feel PROUD of the achievement and did I reap euphoric benefits afterwards. Thinking about it makes me that excited for my next challenge.

8. Before I entered the Cryo Chamber, I typically felt…

Determined to challenge the status quo. For me, I embody the vision of walking on stage or in front of an audience (when I feel most alive), this helps me emotionally push through. It’s such a powerful test on your frame of mind.

9. After I exited the Cryo Chamber, I typically felt… 

RELIEVED BUT REJUVINATED and ready to take on the world. The energy and clarity this experience leaves you with is unlike anything else I have ever experienced in my entire life.

11. My favourite Cryo Song(s) during the 15 Days…

KHALID is my man. It was the song ‘location’ at first and then ‘silence’ became my go to. He brings soul to my sessions. Don’t underestimate the importance in your song choice, its your make or break in regards to the ease level experienced, make sure it resonates with you and has your heart singing.

12.  My Pro ‘Cryo’ Tip… 

The song as listed above is important because it effects your state of mind. Being in a strong head space is important with cryo as it tests your mental strength while your body receives the benefits.

Awareness to breath is essential, keep tapping in and breathe deeply.

It’s become a very personal experience for me so sharing the chamber with another isn’t preferred for me but I will have you know it can be a fantastic distraction especially when starting out with cryo.

13. My go-to post-Cryo snack or meal…

As often as I can, I time my cryo session to be right before lunch so I can enjoy the green nourishing bowl next door at SMAAK food house café. It’s the most perfect combo. When you cryo you experience FEELING good on another level, therefore what you put into your temple effortlessly becomes healthy fuel that compliments the strength, vitality and energy gained from cryo.

ALL OF THE ABOVE.

A) Because I know what its like to have crippling health and cryo shifted gears in that department.

B) I am more productive, clear and efficient with all that I do when I cryo.

& C) My life is enhanced in every single area.

15. My nutrition regime during the 15 Days…

I naturally eat very well most of the time so nourishing myself comes with no effort as it’s a way of life – however with this challenge I found I had more self awareness and clarity around everything that I did therefore there was no mindless eating or craving naughty foods. You feel so good that nourishing yourself is a total no brainer.

It was like a fifteen-day challenge of nourishing my brain, soul and body.

16. My training regime during the 15 Days…

Because I am still healing from Lyme disease and experience arthritis, I very much have to honour my body in the realm of training.

For me it’s very gentle at this time in my life. Yin Yoga, walks, swims and the odd pilates or barre class if I’m physically up for it. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss my cardio but as the walk I talk, you must honour your BODY and give it what it needs now.

17. When I’m not at Alchemy Cryo, you can find me… 

When I’m not at my second home (Alchemy Cryo), you will find me dating my laptop, organising my next workshop, coaching a client or working on expanding my business (Soul Before You). I LOVE what I do so much it never feels like work.  I also make a conscious effort to switch off from work mode (MY PHONE) and connect with nature, meditate, catch up or call a soul sister and laugh as hard and often as I can.
